Kelly McDowell has been involved in Wisconsin politics for more than 20 years. She began her political career as a legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Senate and State Assembly. Kelly joined MS&A in 1993 and helps state and national clients – including Miller Brewing Company, Wisconsin Beverage Association, and the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association – achieve their objectives in the tax, environmental, regulatory, education and insurance policy areas.
Kelly served on the Dane County Board of Supervisors for six years, including two years as Vice-Chair of the Board and four years as Chair of the Health and Human Needs Committee. During her time on the Board, Kelly helped establish the Dane County Job Center and also served on the Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace Commission. Kelly ran for the State Assembly as a Republican in 1992.
A native of Madison, Kelly graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 1986 with a B.A. in English.
